🎥 Round video

Paste a YouTube link or upload an MP4. The video shows on the round's public page, which only opens once the line-up is saved.

Two routes

The video lives on the round, on the Game tab. You can attach as many as you like, in two ways: paste a YouTube link (the lightest — the video stays there) or upload a file, MP4 or MOV, straight from your phone.

YouTube link

Paste the address and add a title if you want. Any form of the link works: youtube.com/watch, /shorts or youtu.be.

📍 Round → Game

Or upload the file

Only MP4 and MOV, up to 500 MB. The file goes straight from your phone to storage without passing through the server — which is why the bar shows real progress.

📍 Round → Game

Pick the type

Full match or Clip / highlight. Filmed the night in parts? Upload each part as "full match": the page numbers them on its own (Part 1, Part 2…).

📍 Round → Game

Attaching the video to the matchday organiser

  1. The video panel sits on the matchday's <b>Game</b> tab, and takes either a YouTube link or an uploaded file.

  2. Paste the link, give it a title (<i>First half</i>, <i>Full game</i>) and hit <b>Add link</b>. You can add as many as you like.

The catch: with no saved line-up, the link doesn't open

The round's public page only exists once you save the line-up. Attach the video before that and the link you drop in the group leads to a not-found page — and the screen warns you in red when that is the case.

Real exampleYou film on Thursday, upload on Friday morning and drop the link in the group. Nobody can open it. The reason: that round never had a saved line-up (the teams were sorted by hand, outside the app). Save the line-up — even after the match — and the link starts working.

Where the group sees it

The YouTube link was rejected.+
The app takes youtube.com/watch?v=…, youtube.com/shorts/… and youtu.be/…. A playlist, channel or third-party shortened link won't do — open the video and copy its own address.
The upload failed halfway.+
Try again with the screen open and the phone on Wi-Fi: 500 MB over mobile data tends to drop. The part that did upload takes no space and shows up nowhere.
"Video too large".+
The limit is 500 MB. Split it and upload each part as "full match" — the page numbers them on its own — or publish on YouTube and paste the link.
I attached it and the group can't see it.+
Check that the line-up is saved on that round: without it the public page doesn't open.
Do the people in the video need to agree?+
Yes, and that is on you: the video is visible on the public page, with no login. The screen warns you before you attach it. The app doesn't know who appears in the footage, so anonymising a player does not reach the video.
Can I reorder the videos?+
Not directly — the order is the order you added them. To reorder, remove and attach again in the order you want.
Is the video in the backup?+
No, deliberately: it is re-creatable and one file alone would blow the copy. What the backup holds is the pelada's data.
