FootyWho goes first (loyalty policy)
Under the default (loyalty) policy the call-up sorts the squad by, in order: 1) longest attendance streak; 2) fewest unexcused misses; 3) longest at the club (sign-up date); 4) your preference (the ↑↓ arrows on the list, only among tied players); 5) name. Keepers and outfielders have separate queues: goal slots are contested only among keepers.
What each state does
Confirmed
Holds a slot. If the queue is full, a new confirmation joins the waiting list — nobody gets kicked out.
Check-in (present)
Showed up. They pay the match fee at closing and can be in the line-up. A reserve's check-in doesn't jump the queue: they rise automatically when a slot opens.
Left with notice
Freed the slot in time: the first reserve of the SAME queue is promoted instantly. At closing it counts as a miss (the streak survives — see below).
No-show (unexcused)
Counts as a miss AND adds to the unexcused-misses counter — a permanent priority tiebreaker.
Excused leave
Neutral: no miss, nothing changes. Use it for injury, work, force majeure.

2. Each row has identity on top and actions below: check-in, drop-out with notice, no-show, and the ↑↓ arrows that settle ties between equal priorities.

3. The Messages tab holds the call-up text ready to paste into the group — with venue, time, fee and the queue order already in it.
When counters change (only at closing)
Marking attendance doesn't touch any counter — everything consolidates when you close the matchday: present adds +1 to the streak (and resets consecutive misses); left-with-notice and no-show add +1 to consecutive misses; unconfirmed, reserves and excused leaves change nothing.
The streak survives 1–2 consecutive misses. On the third in a row (configurable), it resets — back of the queue.
The other list policies
- Arrival order: the matchday starts empty and the queue is the order you mark replies. Leaving and returning = back of the queue.
- Manual: starts empty and the order is whatever you set (reorder with the ↑↓ arrows on the list).
- In both, loyalty counters still update at closing — switch back anytime, the history is there.
- The policy is frozen into each matchday at creation: config changes apply to future ones.
- Keeper for the night: short of keepers? Tap the position tag (GK/DEF/MID/FWD) on the list and move an outfield player to GK — they switch queue for this matchday only, their outfield slot goes to the first on the waiting list, and the match fee exemption already applies. Picking their registered position again undoes it — and if the outfield queue has filled up meanwhile, they go to the back of the waiting list themselves, without taking the slot back from whoever moved up.
