Two inboxes, one design
You have your inbox and each player has theirs. The bell shows how many unread notices there are, and the inbox keeps everything in order: call-up, slot opened, teams drawn, result, MVP votes. The whole line is clickable and goes straight to the relevant screen.
- Archiving also marks as read — leaving the inbox unread doesn't exist.
- A round's notices expire the morning after the match. That is what stops the inbox becoming a dumping ground.
- Several notices about the same thing become one line with a counter: three MVP votes read "MVP vote (3)", not three lines.
The rule that surprises: the alert isn't the notice
The four switches — ⚽ Round, 🏆 Result, 💷 Money, 💬 Social — control what interrupts you (today, the bell's sound and pulse). They do not stop the notice existing: it stays in the inbox and keeps counting towards the bell.
- Never touched the switches? Everything is on. No configuration means receiving everything — the feature doesn't start mute for whoever never opened the screen.
- The setting belongs to your account in this pelada: whoever organises and also plays has one, because it is the person who gets interrupted, not the role. Whoever plays in two peladas chooses in each.
- Pause everything ("Mute until") beats all four switches — it is for holidays. Leaving the field empty ends the pause; without that the only way out would be waiting for the date.
- Switching Round off costs the most: you stop being alerted about the call-up and about slots opening, and that is how a slot gets lost.
What the app sends on its own, and when
Everything is measured in hours before the match, never in weekdays — so it works for whoever plays on Saturday morning and survives a time change.
12 hours before
To the player who hasn't answered, "You still need to confirm". To you, the confirmation summary and, if any, who has no balance.
6 hours before
"Round at risk", only if confirmations still don't fill the slots. It is the one alert that pierces the night silence — at 11pm a round can still be saved with a phone call; in the morning it can't.
3 hours before
"Match today", with time and venue, for whoever holds a slot. Whoever is on the waiting list doesn't get it.
After the match
If the round is still open, the app reminds you the result is missing — and stops on its own once you close it.
- Silence from 10pm to 8am, in your pelada's time zone. It defers, it doesn't cancel: the notice isn't created at night, and since the condition is still true in the morning, it goes out at 8am — once only.
- The debtors notice goes out even with "block debtors" off: the switch decides whether the debtor loses the slot, not whether you get to know.
- Late drop-out is the only notice about a specific person that interrupts you — and only in the 24 hours before the match, while there is still time to call someone.
