What's public (and what never is)
Each pelada has four public pages — Home, Standings, Teams, Games — plus each player's public profile. No login, showing only nickname, photo and match numbers. Never shown: phone, last name, birth date, balances, debts, ratings/weight. This boundary is guarded by an automated test on every app change.
Copy the right link
On the Dashboard, the "Public view" tiles have a ⧉ that copies a share-ready link — already tagged so your analytics knows it came from the group.
📍 Dashboard → Public view → ⧉Or let the message carry it
The WhatsApp call-up, teams and result texts already end with the right public link.
Pin it in the group
Pinning the Home link works well: everything is reachable from there.
- An open matchday with saved teams already previews on /times.
- Scorers and MVP only show publicly if their switches are on.
- The footer badge "create yours for free" is optional (Config) — it's how new peladas find FootyPro.
- "Show in showcase" controls whether your pelada is listed on the product home.
My link landed on an "empty" page.+
Check it's YOUR pelada's link (its name is in the address). With no open matchday, the public home shows the essentials.
Public standings are missing.+
The "Standings on" switch is off — off hides the table publicly AND in the admin (computation continues underneath).
I want out of the site showcase.+
Config → Season tab → untick "Show in showcase". Direct links keep working.
Do players need an account?+
No. Public pages are login-free; only the organizer signs in.
Can I turn the footer badge off?+
Yes — Config → Season tab. On by default.
Do player weights leak publicly?+
Never — weight, ratings, phones and finances are organizer-only, by construction and by permanent test.
