🛟 Troubleshooting

Almost everything in FootyPro can be undone safely — this is the "how do I undo" map, screen by screen.

Matchday and score

I closed the matchday with an error.+
Matchday → Reopen: automatic fees refund and it's open again. Fix and re-close — counters and standings recompute from full history, nothing double-counts.
I logged a game by mistake.+
With the matchday open, ✕ on the game card deletes it for real (its goals go too).
Rain / lost the pitch.+
Cancel matchday: fully neutral — no attendance, no miss, no charge. Cancelled by mistake? Re-create the date's matchday.
This week's venue or price differs.+
The matchday's ✎ adjusts venue and fee for that night only. If someone already ticked the £, undo the payments before changing the price (the app warns).
"Close" is blocked.+
A logged game has no score. Score it or ✕ it.
The player never got the invitation.+
Check the email on the record, ask them to look in spam, and use Resend invitation. The button refuses in three cases: no email on the record, inactive player, or 5 invitations already sent to that address in the last hour.
They signed in and the app says their record wasn’t found.+
The account email must be the same as the one on the record. Fix it on the record — the invitation goes out again by itself — and ask them to sign in once more.
The video link doesn’t open for the group.+
The round’s public page only exists once the line-up is saved. Save the line-up — even after the match — and the link starts working.
I switched an alert off and it is still in the inbox.+
That is the design: the switch removes the alert (the bell’s sound and pulse), not the notice. To be left alone for a while, use Pause everything.
The compare page disappeared.+
It depends on standings being on. With the switch off the page answers "not found" and the links to it vanish — the league table itself stays up with a notice.

Attendance and queue

I marked attendance wrong.+
Open matchday: just re-mark — counters only exist at closing. Closed: reopen, re-mark, close.
They gave notice but got a no-show.+
Switch to "left with notice" (or excused). It matters forever: no-shows weigh on priority tiebreaks.
The list promoted someone I didn't want.+
Promotion follows the active policy's queue. Re-mark as reserve and adjust with the ↑↓ arrows on the list: manual lets you reorder everything; under loyalty the arrows settle ties (and the order carries to future matchdays).
A player vanished from the call-up.+
Check: (1) active? (2) a keeper? — separate queues, few goal slots; (3) under arrival/manual, someone must mark them first.

Money

Wrong top-up (amount or person).+
Delete it from the player's statement — the linked cash entry leaves too and the balance self-corrects. Then record the right one.
I need to touch a fee deduction.+
Fees aren't hand-deleted: reopen the matchday (refunds that night), fix, close — or record a compensating adjustment.
Wrong match-day £.+
Untick it on the attendance: top-up, cash entry and balance revert together. Works after closing too.
I closed the month by mistake.+
Reopening the month removes only that month's fees — top-ups and adjustments stay.
The kitty doesn't add up.+
Three suspects: an unrecorded expense, a wrong top-up "compensated" with an adjustment (adjustments never touch cash — delete the wrong top-up), and a duplicated manual entry.

Players

I deactivated the wrong person.+
Reactivate from the profile. Their streak restarts (back of the queue); points and credits stay.
Duplicate sign-up.+
No history at all: the profile offers a real delete. With history: deactivate the duplicate.
A player invoked GDPR.+
Profile → Anonymise: personal data goes, the group's anonymous records stay. Irreversible. Export their data first if requested.

Account and access

Forgot password / no link arriving.+
Use "forgot password" (the link expires in minutes, single-use). Check spam and the registered address.
"Session expired" mid-use.+
Sessions last 30 idle minutes — sign in again; nothing saved is lost.
My co-organizer can't get in.+
Check Config → Administrators. The invite arrives by email with an access link.
Is anything truly irreversible?+
Anonymising a player (GDPR) and the definitive purge of a deleted pelada (after the 30-day grace). Everything else has a way back.
Does reopening mess up standings?+
No: reopening refunds fees and re-closing recomputes counters and standings from history.
My problem isn't here.+
Write to support — the contact is in every page's footer.
